Framework concept for development

The framework concept formulates guiding principles for the future development of the Gusen memorial site, which are intended to inform its content orientation, curatorial design, and educational programming. It provides the basis for in-depth conceptual work as well as for the preparation of a competition for the design of future exhibitions and curatorial interventions on site. The concept is based on the final report of the participatory process for the redesign of the Gusen Memorial and on additional policy and position papers of the memorial, and it makes reference to the winning project of the international competition for architecture and landscape design.
